Agile Techniques for Nonprofit Team Building

workshop description

Agile Techniques for Nonprofit Team Building (November 18, 5pm)
Agile methodologies have proven useful tools for teams to continuously improve, align more effectively, focus on priorities, deliver valuable results more quickly, and better manage interruptions. After a concise introduction to agile principles and values, and the elements of an agile framework, participants will divide into facilitated teams and walk through iterations of planning, designing and building a solution to issues commonly encountered by nonprofit organizations. Participants will experience a taste of what working in an agile team is like, and how it can help both staff and board teams become more effective. Workshop facilitator: Daniel Herman
